Currently serving as your Lockport Township Clerk
Erin Haas Gotts has been serving as the Lockport Township Clerk since 2021.

As a lifetime resident of Lockport, she and her Lockport-native husband of 23 years stay very active with their two teenage sons. A graduate of Lockport Township High School, Joliet Junior College and Prairie State College, Erin had spent her career working full time as a dental hygienist until she was elected as the Clerk.

As someone who has always been eager to learn and grow, Erin has embraced her role as Clerk by striving to bring enthusiasm and positivity to the Township. She believes in serving all and is committed to continuing her professional development by having a genuine passion for serving the community. She has been actively connecting to all age groups in Lockport Township and Will County during her term. She has demonstrated her dedication while serving as a Local Election Official and running Early Voting as well as with her continued partnership with United Way of Will County’s baby diaper distribution program.

Erin is looking forward to continuing to work diligently to improve Township services. As promised, she has successfully worked on modernizing the Clerk’s Office and has enhanced the communication outreach to residents. Some of her future goals include providing dental hygiene supply outreach and working with the Township team and community on programs and opportunities to serve the current needs of all.

She stands by her motto of, “I am here for you!”
