Alex Zapien has proudly served as your Lockport Township Supervisor since 2023. As Supervisor, he serves as the Township’s chief executive and financial officer, overseeing operations and finances for the Township, which includes portions of Lockport, Crest Hill, Romeoville, and Plainfield.
Raised in a working-class household, Alex became head of his household at a young age. He earned a degree in Physics from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
His personal experience and proven financial leadership have prepared him to serve effectively on the Will County Board.

Fiscal Responsibility & Tax Relief
Under Alex’s leadership, the Township tax rate has been reduced to its lowest level since 2005 without cutting services.
